Divine Assignment

Jeremiah 1:1-10
You were not saved just for the sake of it. You have a part to play in the Kingdom of God. A great privilege. Many have come and gone. Many are just going through the motions. There are clear differences between, desire, needs and the will of God.

YOUR ASSINGNMENT

Many children of God are being held in the camp of the enemy. Romans 10:13-15 For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him whom they have not believed. Daniel 12:3 and they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament, and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever. Matthew 28:18-20.
To set the captives free. Physically. Luke 4:18 The spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. Mark 16:17 In my name, they will cast out demons.
Be an evangelist in the market place: To be privileged to have substance. The resources for the word evangelist is in the hands of the market place evangelist. Matthew 8:1-3. The Apollos. The Priscilla and Aquilas. God will deliberately prosper you to bless His work.
To raise kingdom generals. There is always someone looking up to you. Brothers that you have to mentor. Sisters that you have to be an example to. The children that the Lord has given you. To be taught in the ways of the Lord. As arrows. Psalm 127:3-4. Psalm 112:2 Your seed shall be mighty in the land.
As a service provider. God needs a physical man to carry out assignments for Him. To be available to carry out instructions for God. One of such places is in the Church. Romans 12:11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep spiritual fervour, serving the Lord. 1 Peter 4:10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in it’s various forms.
As an emblem of grace. 2 Corinthians 5:20. An ambassador representing the Kingdom of God.

No EXCUSES

I’m not smart enough. 1 Corinthians 1:30 “of God is made to us wisdom and righteousness”.

I’ll be lonely. Hebrews 13:5 “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

Too many challenges along the way. 1 Corinthians:10:13 “There is no temptation taken you that is not common to man; but God is faithful”. He is too faithful to mishandle your destiny.

Tests to pass to sustain your assignment

The love test. Luke 10:27 You must love the Lord your God totally. Love others as well. It is the foundation of what you need to do.
The obedience test. John 14:23 Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. Deuteronomy 28:1 If you hearken diligently.
The integrity test. The ethos of the kingdom is integrity. The integrity in the word of God. It is in fallible. Accountability. Punctuality.
Endurance test. You must be assured that God is too faithful to mismanage your destiny.
